Personal Data Processing

This page explains how I handle the personal data you send me through the contact form.

Who processes the data

The data controller is Eva Laborová, the operator of this website. You can contact me by e-mail at eva.laborova@seznam.cz.

What data and why

From the contact form I process your first name, last name, e-mail, subject and message. I use them only to reply to you and to arrange a consultation with you.

The legal basis is my legitimate interest in replying to your enquiry, or steps prior to entering into a contract if you are interested in a consultation (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR).

To protect the form against spam, the website stores your IP address as a one-way hash (not the address itself) together with the time of sending, so that too many messages cannot be sent from one place. Records older than 24 hours are deleted the next time a valid form is submitted. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in protecting the form (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

How long

I keep messages for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and no longer than 3 years from our last contact. If we agree on a consultation, I keep the data for the period required by law.

Who receives the data

I do not sell your data or pass it on for marketing. A message from the form passes through the server of my web hosting provider (ACTIVE 24, s.r.o., Czech Republic) and is delivered to my e-mail inbox (Seznam.cz, a.s., Czech Republic). The web hosting provider also keeps technical access logs (IP address, time and page visited).

Your rights

You have the right to request access to your data, its correction or erasure, restriction of processing and data portability, and the right to object to processing. Just write to me at eva.laborova@seznam.cz.

If you believe I am not handling your data correctly, you can file a complaint with the Czech Office for Personal Data Protection (uoou.gov.cz).
